Return Policy - Sea Life Marine Co.

At Sea Life Marine Co., we stand behind the products we sell. If something isn’t quite right for your project—or just not what you expected—we’re here to help. You can return most items within 30 days of receipt for a hassle-free exchange or refund, provided they meet the conditions outlined below. Please note there are exceptions for certain product types.

Non-Returnable Items:

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • All Electronic Items: This includes, but is not limited to, fish finders, GPS units, radios, trolling motors, battery chargers, and any other electrical components or devices.

  • Special Orders & Built-to-Order Items: Custom-fabricated items, including most of our storage units (which are typically built to order), are non-returnable unless they were built incorrectly by Sea Life Marine Co. or arrived damaged.

  • Cut Lengths of Material: Any material sold by length and cut to your specifications (e.g., rope, hose, wire) cannot be returned.

  • Live or Frozen Bait.

  • Hazardous Materials (e.g., some paints, resins, aerosols, batteries - unless damaged/defective upon arrival and reported immediately).

  • Items Marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" (unless defective).

Return Requirements for Eligible Items:

To be eligible for a return, please ensure:

  • The item was purchased within the last 30 days.

  • The item is in new, unused, and resalable condition.

  • The item is in its original packaging with all included components, manuals, accessories, and warranty cards.

  • You have obtained a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from us prior to sending the item back.

Important Notes:

  • Inspection Upon Arrival: Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange for a resolution.

  • Shipping and Handling Fees: Original shipping and handling fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

  • Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, item arrived damaged or defective). For approved warranty claims, please refer to the specific manufacturer's warranty policy, which may cover shipping.

  • Receipt of Returned Items: Returned items must be received by Sea Life Marine Co. within 14 days of your RMA approval. Items received after this period may not be accepted.

Return Process:

  • Confirm Eligibility: Before initiating a return, please ensure your item meets the conditions outlined in this policy and is not listed under "Non-Returnable Items."

  • Request an RMA: Complete the RMA Request Form available on our website [or contact our Customer Service team at [Phone Number] or [Email Address]]. Please provide your order number and the reason for the return.

  • Receive RMA Number & Instructions: We will review your request and typically respond within 1-2 business days with an RMA number and detailed return instructions, including the return shipping address. Do not send items back without an RMA number.

  • Ship Your Item(s): Securely package the item(s) to prevent damage during transit. Include a copy of your original invoice or packing slip and clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping package. Ship your items using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

  • Inspection and Refund/Exchange: Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within approximately 3-7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

  • For exchanges, the replacement item will be shipped out after the returned item has been received and inspected.
